PHOTO MEMORIES OF 2020

Updated: Jan 2

Let's take a walk down memory lane as we remember REH's 2020!

In March, REH fundraised & gave away thousands of relief dollars to NYers in need through our “Need Help, Give Help” campaign.

Throughout the spring, REHers helped pack & deliver free meals for homebound East Harlem seniors daily with Meals on Wheels & Union Settlement.

In April, REH bought & delivered over 1,400 beverages & food items to doctors & nurses caring for Covid patients at the Mt. Sinai pop-up tents in Central Park.

In June, REH co-led/organized a prayer protest march with other East Harlem churches & Exodus Transitional Community, proclaiming God’s love for justice, racial justice, & the Black community. (Above: Pastor Justin & other EH pastors praying over Mayor de Blasio who attended our march)

In June, REH offered a free 4-part antiracism class for over 700 registrants. Jemar Tisby joined us to co-teach part 4! People around the world attended & were blessed.

In July, August, & September, REHers volunteered countless hours (without air conditioning! Oh the sweaty memories) to renovate the new 2,100 sq. ft. REH office & ministry space called the EHMH (East Harlem Ministry Hub) on 116th & 2nd Ave. After renovation, REH invited a number of East Harlem ministry partners to join us in ministering & officing in this space. Currently, our new ministry hub is blessing 7 other non-profit organizations!

In October we prayer walked the entire neighborhood of East Harlem together with other East Harlem churches/organizations.

REH celebrated our 1st birthday in October! OUR FIRST YEAR!! Glory to God!

In October, REH collected, donated, & distributed thousands of free clothing & home goods items to hundreds of East Harlemites!

REHers donated & gave out tons of candy, toothbrushes, & balloon creations to hundreds of East Harlem neighbors on Halloween.

In November, REHers donated & delivered loads of food drive items to Union Settlement’s food drive to provide for seniors in need of Thanksgiving meal foods.

In November, REH adopted PS 155, across the street from our ministry hub, providing thousands in Thanksgiving aid for hundreds in need.

In December, REH organized a toy drive for dozens of East Harlem families in need. Hundreds of toys were donated & given away!

Thank you for how you’ve given, so others may be blessed! If you’d like to give to help us continue caring for others, please go to www.REH.nyc/give.

Thank you!
