This fall, Redeemer East Harlem is launching the Experiencing Jesus initiative — a season of ministry deliberately designed to invite our neighbors, friends, and family into a genuine encounter with Jesus. The initiative will unfold through church-wide prayer and worship gatherings, classes equipping us for spiritual conversations, a sermon series called Rescued & Rooted centering on grace, belonging, and hope, and the launch of Alpha, a globally trusted course that creates a relaxed, judgment-free space for anyone curious about the Christian faith. Whether you are exploring faith for the first time or looking to grow in how you share it, there is a place for you in what God is doing among us this fall. Stay tuned for dates, details, and ways to get involved

Vision Night - Friday, September 11 - To kick off the Fall ministry year and our season of inviting people into an experience with Jesus, we will have a night of prayer, praise, and asking the Lord for His favor and wisdom. We will have a special time of prayer for our Alpha team.

Sermon Series - Recused & Rooted: In this study of the book of Romans, we will consider the central claims of the Christian faith, the person of Jesus, and the ways Jesus satisfies every longing and desire we possess. Connected to the series, community groups will spend time each week discussing how the various topics can be oriented toward those interested in faith.

Class - Having Spiritual Conversations: In our season of focusing on what it means to share our faith, our fall class will help us learn how to have meaningful conversations about life and faith with their co-workers, friends, family, and neighbors

Alpha Course: Alpha is a trusted and global ministry that designed a course that helps create a relaxed and open environment for anyone to explore the basics of the Christian faith with no pressure, no prior knowledge, and no obligation. It's designed for people who are curious, skeptical, or simply searching — and it runs on the conviction that the best environment for those conversations is one built around good food, genuine welcome, and no judgment.
