1st Sundays are Donation Sundays!
Every 1st Sunday of the month is a donation drop-off day where you can drop off items to the East Harlem Ministry Hub (2271 2nd Ave) from 1 pm - 3 pm.
Due to the 1st Sunday of the month––April 5––being Easter Sunday this year, we will not be receiving donations and the Community Closet will be closed.
We will resume receiving donations on May 3
Help stock the Community Closet in East Harlem with your excellent-condition used items!

We are accepting:
​
-Home goods in excellent condition
-Blankets, towels, linens (stain-free, hole-free)
-Dress clothing (Businesswear, Business casual wear, church-wear clothing)
-Jeans in excellent condition
-Coats, scarves, & winter-wear in excellent condition
-Purses/wallets
-Toys in excellent condition
-Jewelry in excellent condition
-And the like
Be generous in your donations! Donate nice items!
We are NOT accepting:
​
-Any item in poor condition (stains/holes/smells/fade)
-Cut-off clothing incl. shirts and shorts
-Food (all kinds)
-Furniture or oversized items
-Undergarments: socks, bras, boxers, underwear
-Any item that is broken or with pieces missing or pieces or
-Outdated electronics
-Worn-down clothing/shoes or other items
-Anything illegal
